LearnAdapt Privacy Notice

1. Data we collect

• Institutional metadata: cohort identifiers, course codes, consent artefacts.
• Learner interaction data: xAPI statements, tutor actions, assessment outcomes.
• System telemetry: service health metrics, error logs, API usage analytics.

2. How we use the data

• Deliver personalised tutoring content and variant assignments.
• Generate mastery, engagement, and fairness dashboards for authorised staff.
• Power research experiments approved by your organisation's governance process.

3. Storage & security

Data is stored in Google Cloud (asia-southeast1) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted via IAM, service accounts, and per-project secret scopes. Audit logs capture every privileged action and are retained for a minimum of 12 months.

4. Retention & deletion

Learner interaction data is retained for the duration of the pilot plus the archival period defined in your data processing agreement (default 180 days). We support deletion or export requests submitted by the institution’s data controller.

5. Your controls

• Request data exports or deletion via your institutional administrator.
• Configure consent, anonymisation, and retention settings in the experiments console.
• Review audit logs and fairness dashboards to ensure responsible use.
